which is an Intel Xeon better (better) or Intel i7 (better)?
the best of two families of processors which is the return of one of the better?
The main class and the class Xeon processors represent a group. The Core i7 920 is equivalent to the Xeon W3520. Xeons tend to be higher quality chip, but its true potential is when two or more physical processors on the computer. The current best available processors are: a processor: Core i7 970 Extreme Edition or Intel Xeon 3.33 GHz Bloomfield W3580 (these processors have only one QPI link) two or more processors: Intel Xeon 3.2GHz W5580 Nehalem (this processor has multiple links QPI) aka you can talk to more processors EDIT: the guy who suggested i5, the processor doesn't support three memory channels or hyper threading. This issue is clearly about what is the best processor, not what is the best deal. W3580 again i7970 Xeon and Core are the same exact chip! Also be conducted.
