Processor Upgrade
Better to upgrade RAM or processor on a new laptop?
I’m planning on getting a Dell that you can customize and with my budget I can either upgrade 4GB of memory to 6GB or upgrade the Intel I3 processor to a I5 processor. What would be more important for a new college student this fall? Oh and the processor upgrade is like $40 more to upgrade than the memory.
I would go with the CPU upgrade. It should be easier down the road to upgrade the memory yourself.
